Get your plan and figure out the materials.
Be sure to get a copy of your home’s site plan. After doing this, use our cost calculator to determine how much fence you’ll need for your lot. This is as easy as using the cost calculator to draw a line around the perimeter of your property and adding gates where you see fit. Once you do this, then it is on to step two!
Get the proper submission paperwork; submit in advance.
Step two is simply reaching out to your HOA and getting all of the proper paperwork you’ll need to submit your project request to your HOA. Be sure to submit your forms well in advance as some HOA’s meet infrequently and go over all resident requests at those meetings. If you submit your paperwork well in advance, there should be minimal chances of delay in your fence installation plan. Fill out all of the paperwork thoroughly and outline all of the work needed to be performed. Please don’t hesitate to click here and reach out to our team. We would be more than happy to assist you with this. It would also be wise to add a printout of the diagram you have created on our cost calculator. This way, members of the HOA can see the outline of the fence; this will further help them visualize and understand the scope of work. It would also be wise to submit photos of our fence product so they can see what the fence will look like as well. This makes the process as easy as possible for the HOA.
Review your application and submit it!
You have done lots of work so far in steps one and two. You will want to make sure you double-check everything and ensure that all of the details have been accounted for. Some HOA’s may also require you to pay an application review fee. If that is the case, you will want to ensure you have left no stone unturned while putting your application together. Once you have reviewed everything, then submit your application!
