Next steps after my strata chooses to get a quote from Premium Fence.

We wanted to write a short article to serve as an outline of our process. Four steps will occur if your strata chooses to get a quote from Premium Fence Company. We intend to keep the process as simple as possible without missing any details along the way.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any feedback about this post. Please share it with a friend or social media if you find it valuable. Let’s get started!

  1. Make an appointment to meet on-site and review the scope of the project.

One of our project consultants will arrange a meeting with a site contact to walk through the job site, assess how much material you’ll need to complete the job, and provide recommendations on what kind of fence you would need based on your strata’s wants and needs. The site contact should be a member of council, a property manager, or a fence committee member for best results. Confusion has been known to occur when our rep meets with someone that is not one of the above.

  1. We will send our mapping team to create a site map with exact footage, heights, and styles.

After our initial meeting, we will send our mapping team to create a site map and take measurements to determine the actual footage, heights, and material styles. They’ll detail every fence that is part of the scope of work. Nobody is needed to meet our mapping team for this part of the process.

Even though Cedar is resilient, durable, and beautiful, there is still some work required to ensure that your cedar fence will stand the test of time and remain structurally sound for as long as possible.

  1. Provide a fully detailed, written proposal.

We will provide you with a proposal that will include a sitemap. All the specifications are very detailed, the thickness of the posts, depth of the post…etc. The proposal will also include the style of the fence, terms/conditions, and pricing so your strata council will have all of the information they need to present at the AGM or SGM.

  1. We can provide samples and/or present them at the AGM.

We are willing to provide samples and even attend your AGM or SGM in person or via zoom to answer all questions and concerns before the strata votes on the job.

Bonus: Send videos to the residents.

We also create videos to send to council members and strata residents via email. This video is sent with a survey link to pre-answer questions and provides information that could be useful during the decision-making process.
